Pepsi is officially better than Coke

because according to this article, they’re introducing a new plastic bottle made entirely from plant materials.

But don’t worry, they claim that the new bottles will be indistinguishable from the current ones.

So why is this better?

The plastic in bottles now is made from petroleum, aka oil.

Pepsi plans to use orange peels, oat hulls, potato scraps and other leftovers from its food business, aka recycling waste.

Does this mean I won’t have to recycle my Pepsi bottles anymore?

Nope, if you throw out the new bottles you will still be contributing to this.
